Commercial Food Equipment Service Association is the trade association of professional service and parts distributors for the food service industry. Founded in 1963 CFESA members promote the highest standards of service with over 450 members representing all of North America. We are now seeking an experienced marketing administrator to join our team! The Marketing Administrator will take primary responsibility for strengthening, promoting and advancing the image and branding of the association. The successful candidate will play a key role in the ability to engage, the membership, media, allied associations, industry partners, and potential members through direct personal interaction, as well as high quality timely print, online, and social media communications.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Associate degree with minimum 3+ years of marketing communications/ journalism, web design experience
· Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with a demonstrated track record both of effective public speaking and of a strong proficiency in writing and formatting for web-based and print communications
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel, including the generation and use of graphics, tables, charts and reports
· High Proficiency in publication suites including Adobe, Corel, PageMaker, Illustrator, InDesign and Corel
· Skilled in web design, development, and maintenance including WordPress
· Knowledgeable and current with all social media and eCommerce
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Overseeing development and execution of marketing communication functions including the website, marketing materials, and advertising
· Effectively support our industry branding initiatives
· Drive recommendations to select partners/vendors for paid marketing execution, and then take on role as primary contact for day-to-day interaction with and guidance of contracted vendors.
· Production/Creation and editing of marketing materials
· Write/edit the association’s public/member magazine and newsletter
· Representing association at numerous industry and public events throughout the year.
· Drive continuous improvement in marketing communications planning and execution with the membership/board input. Such continuous improvement and analysis to include ensuring completion of and final execution of action items, final spending vs budget, success metrics reporting and specific recommendations for improvements and growth
· Pursue continual upgrades and improvement on all fronts
· Some travel required
