David Zwirner seeks highly motivated temporary project assistant.
Qualified candidates should be highly organized, motivated, and responsible, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and an interest in gaining experience in organizing and digitizing the press and marketing archive of a contemporary art gallery.
This position would begin in mid-July through the end of August. The position us Mondays through Friday, 10am-6pm, depending on department schedules.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Assist Communications Assistant & Archivist in conducting a thorough clean out of press and marketing materials stored in annex basement; including moving boxes and organizing ephemera
- Reorganize press archive dating back to 1995 to identify which press clippings and newspapers should be digitized and stored, and which should be discarded
- Implement new physical and digital filing system for press archive; cataloguing, scanning, digitizing, and shelving remaining materials
