HR Generalist

We are seeking an HR Generalist for our Headquarters in New York. Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with HR in our Dublin office, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years working in an HR role at an agency or corporate office. The successful candidate will have experience hiring public relations, advertising, management consultants, and/or hi-tech professionals.

Duties:
  • Manage, drive, and own the full-cycle recruiting process by creating robust pipelines through active sourcing of multiple channels, screening resumes, interviewing, and closing candidate including issuing contracts.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations, and create a feedback culture.
  • Maintain HRIS system, keeping all employee records accurate and up to date.
  • Own benefit program by analysing company and employee needs, following trends and industry standards.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Collaborate with HR globally to create and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across Wachsman.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Complete all HR administration including but not limited to contract production, employees letters, employee handbook review and update, joiners, leavers, and ad hoc reporting.

The successful applicant will have:
  • At least 3 years working in an HR role at an agency or corporate office.
  • Experience recruiting in a rapidly expanding company.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices.
  • Results-oriented and driven with demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
  • Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Excellent active listening and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of payroll and employee benefit regulations and programs.
