Digital Marketing Specialist

We're looking for someone to join our diverse team in Oslo to play a key role in the development and execution of our digital advertising and engagement programs. Job Duties:
  • Build, monitor, report on, and support the optimization of ad campaigns across Search, Facebook, Instagram, Display, Twitter, Snapchat, and other platforms
  • Execute A/B or multivariate ad tests 
  • Collecting and analyzing campaign data, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI for our advertising campaigns
  • Brief creative teams on required assets
  • Identify and track key moments-in-time (MITs) for advertising opportunities. We have lots of always-on advertisers that capitalize on MITs
  • Monitor ad performance in relation to site analytics (via Google Analytics and other platforms) to ensure ROI goals are successful
  • Support digital team members in executing and reporting on different digital marketing campaigns
  • Client-facing responsibilities, including performance reporting, weekly planning, and participating in quarterly reviews

Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of digital marketing experience
  • Aptitude to learn and expand your skill set
  • Confidence in front of clients - you are comfortable discussing your work, what’s going well, and what a campaign should do next 
  • Proven experience delivering digital marketing results 
  • Familiarity with running online advertising campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, and Google ecosystems
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team, yet be comfortable running a project or task independently
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-starter: you go above and beyond the requirements and anticipate team members’ and client’s needs
  • Flexibility: you don’t get flustered when new challenges are thrown your way
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics
  • Ability to travel - this role is Oslo-based but may require travel to Canada

Great skills to have
  • Experience in politics or political campaigns a definite asset
  • Bilingualism is an asset (Norwegian and English) with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience running programmatic campaigns
  • SQL and Excel
  • Blueprint and Google certification
  • Experience in politics or not-for-profit fundraising
  • Broad understanding of SEO
