Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a DevOps Engineer who is interested in working on cloud-based DevOps solutions and has experience with Python, Shell scripting, and Linux. Our DevOps engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full life cycle design, development, integration, and operation of prototype solutions within a cloud environment
- Interface with customers to gather requirements and apply Agile best practices to manage requirement backlogs for multiple projects
- Collaborate with your engineering team to analyze and decompose requirements, generate user stories, and design solutions and features for client use
- Secure and deploy Linux containers into a Kubernetes platform across a multitude of environments
- Configure and deploy CI/CD pipelines and integrate various security scanning tools, such as SonarQube
- Assist with developing the Basis of Estimate documents to achieve Authorization to Operate within production environments
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Go
- Ability to configure cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
- Previous experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git
- Knowledge of RMF and experience writing responses to security controls and deploying secure systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Comfortable in a project startup environment
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience performing software development or system administration
- Hands on experience configuring Kubernetes and deploying applications to containers
- Experience developing and deploying to AWS and C2S environments
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
