Senior Lab Manager

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Senior Lab Manager who is interested in working on complex automated DevOps solutions. Our DevOps engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for customers and have a direct impact on the direction of methodologies and solutions used by those customers. US Citizenship is required, and the candidate possess an active Secret-level security clearance (at minimum).  The position is available in Chantilly, VA.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Software Engineers in the full life cycle design, development, integration, deployment, and operation of applications by managing the building, deployment and operation as a continuous automated process.
  • Develop automated techniques for improving the development life cycle.
  • Interface with customers to gather requirements.
  • Collaborate with your engineering team to analyze and decompose requirements, generate user stories, and design solutions and features for client use.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field or at least 3 years’ experience in a DevOps environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in infrastructure architecture, deployment, and configuration, for example: Linux Administration, Windows Administration, Network Administration (DHCP, DNS, etc.), Microsoft Active Directory, VMWare vCenter, Jira, Confluence, GitLabs.  
  • Demonstrated experience in DevOps concepts and comfort with DevOps tools such as: Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Dockers, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Pivotal Container Service (PKS).
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects and multiple teams.

Bonus Qualifications:
  • An ability to be cleared up to the Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information access level .
  • Experience using to AWS, C2S, Azure, OpenStack, GovCloud or other Cloud environment.
  • Experience with microservice deployment.
  • Experience with database integration (SQL, NoSQL databases, database normalization, indexing technologies).
