Dane Street is looking for highly motivated candidates to join our National Sales team in the Rochester, NY area. Dane Street offers an exciting work environment, competitive compensation and a strong growth potential.
The Inside Sales Support Specialist will play a critical role in building relationships with our clients and supporting the National Sales and Local Sales teams. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for generating leads and referrals by identifying opportunities within existing accounts and contacts in our active book of business. The position also involves growing Dane Street’s market share by calling on accounts with limited local coverage.
Required Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred with industry knowledge.
2+ years sales experience and/or industry knowledge.
Description of Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist the National and Local Sales teams with making outbound calls to our current National book of business.
- Make 100 dials a day to accounts/contacts that do not have an outreach logged within 30 plus days or accounts where we do not have a LAM assigned.
- Log notes into our internal database (Access DS)
- Calls attempts
- Conversations
- Follow-ups needed
- Work to keep the Dane Street name in front of any drop off adjuster or adjusters who have never been contacted to increase business.
- Utilize all email templates from the Marketing department (or individual NAM's/LAM's) for specific account campaigns
- Communicate directly with the National Account Manager and VP of National Account Management on any possible leads for meetings or areas of new opportunities.
Special Skills and Attributes:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must
