Associate Influencer Strategist

We’re looking for an Associate Influencer Strategist to join our Digital Strategy team. Our team is rapidly growing, so you should be comfortable (and flourish) in a deeply dynamic environment. At Day One, the Strategy team helps to lead accounts and projects, collaborating across functions to shape and share concepts, approaches, and tactics for our clients.

The ideal candidate will be digitally savvy with their finger on the pulse of culture and trends, have a strong background in the influencer marketing realm with experience creating, managing and overseeing influencers, the content approval process and able to craft basic reporting decks.

This position is full time and is only available in New York City.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must be a problem solver, have a creative eye, and high attention to detail. 

  • Help drive the end-to-end execution of influencer marketing campaigns and understands the nuances of the campaign management process
  • Research and identify key influencers, bloggers, and online media within designated verticals
  • Work closely with the Digital Strategy team and supports the day-to-day operations of active influencer campaigns, including influencer outreach/communications, contract negotiations, content development, campaign reporting, and invoicing
  • Experience with basic campaign measurement methods (insights reporting for all major platforms)
  • Comfortable interfacing with various campaign partners (agents, influencers, etc.)
  • Support team lead in building influencer-marketing strategies that support long-term, qualified brand engagements
  • Identify, establish and manage ongoing opportunities for brands to engage with influencers
  • Understand and implement proper compliance with FTC guidelines for brand activities

Skills + Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with influencer tools and frameworks in an account management, media strategist or marketing role, bonus for agency or client side experience
  • Experience working closely with several types of teams including creative, strategy, media planning and PR
  • Basic knowledge of organic content amplification methods (whitelisting, boosting, etc.)
  • Close attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at various stages simultaneously
  • Passion for digital communications and excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
  • Experience interfacing with clients
  • Experience building strategy and messaging briefs is a plus
  • A background in media or analytics is a huge plus
