    Job Description
    Due to NYC3 rapid growth as an agency, developing and maintaining recruitment relationships are essential. The Cyber Command Recruitment Coordinator will play a critical role in recruitment and retention of future NYC3 employees. The ideal candidate will have the ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a thorough and organized fashion. 
     
    Some of the tasks are described below:
      
    ●      Help develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities and other relevant organizations to acquire qualified candidates;  
    ●      Meet with and distribute recruiting materials to state, local and community agencies, media outlets, business leaders, religious groups and other appropriate sources.
    ●      Develop and participate at recruiting events as needed; 
    ●      Aid in the design, development, and execution of recruitment-related projects;
    ●      Coordinate with internal and external teams to properly on-board all incoming full time employees and consultants;
    ●      Maintain a tracking system of NYC3 employees;      
    ●      Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
    ●      Utilize all available social media to advertise and promote vacant positions within the NYC3 and build a strong supporting network to communicate specialized job requirements and vacancies.
    ●      Create a comprehensive social media strategy, which is aligned with NYC3 mission statement.
    ●      Develop a collaborative and effective working relationship with NYC3 towers by actively participating in on-site hiring events and job fairs that are open to the general public.
    ●      Pre-screening job applicants, assisting with on-the-spot review and qualification of resumes and responding to inquiries received from job applicants;
    ●      Performs other personnel duties as assigned.
     
    Qualification Requirements 

    1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or 

    2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or 

    3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above. 
      
    Preferred Skills
    ●      Experience in New York City government;
    ●      Experience with recruitment for technical positions;
    ●      Experience with recruitment for government or non-profit organizations;
    ●      Knowledge of Google Docs and the Microsoft Office suite as well as the ability to routinely go back and forth between both types of platforms;
    ●      Effective communication, customer relations, and interpersonal skills;
    ●      Outstanding professionalism when representing an organization;
    ●      Experience working with all levels of the organization, and ability to interface with Mid-level and Senior staff;
    ●      Familiarity with cyber security tasks to help hiring managers develop task requirements for positions and evaluating talent of applicants and existing employees based on the National Standards and Technology (NST) and National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) framework;
    ●      Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines;
    ●      Ability to maintain confidentiality;
    ●      Experience in managing expectations and relations with multiple stakeholders;
    ●      Knowledge of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) Title Specifications and Civil Service hiring process.
