Director Marketing Demand Generation

We are looking for a Director of Demand Generation at Cumulus Networks to help drive strategic direction and execute on global marketing programs to grow the sales pipeline, accelerate the sales cycle, and nurture high lifetime value accounts.  

The Director of Demand Generation will lead the Demand Gen team and work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to generate net new pipeline, help grow our existing install base, and chart out our account based marketing strategy to drive larger deal sizes.  Must have a passion for technology and data-driven marketing to help plan and execute targeted, account-based strategies, campaigns, and programs in conjunction with sales and the extended marketing team.

The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful, versatile, and able to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution. He/she will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment in close alignment with the product marketing, content marketing, sales, and operations. Results oriented and looking at the full lifecycle of a campaign from strategic development, execution and reporting on ROI. 

Responsibilities:
· Develop and manage the execution of programs and campaigns in alignment with company goals.  This will include email, paid media, webinars and content syndication.
· Define account based marketing strategy and execution planning, encompassing multiple ABM techniques.
· Partner closely with the regional Sales teams to develop and execute regional account focused playbooks, including outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow up, nurture, digital marketing strategies, and events.
· Scope demand gen requirements, budget, resource needs, and delivery timeframes
· Optimize and standardize demand creation approaches across the organization
· Stay current on ABM marketing trends and best practices; modify campaigns to ensure a high-level performance in alignment with pre-established goals
· Working closely with sales to inform them of trends and behavioral data within their target account lists, and in their territory
· Regular reporting of campaign performance across the marketing team and externally (to sales, executive leadership, etc)
· Development and implementation of email nurture strategy based on personas, industries, and/or predictive intelligence with the ultimate goal of taking net new leads down the engagement flow to develop MQLs for sales follow up
· Define and optimize key performance metrics across all channels in the demand generation mix
 
Qualifications
·       BA/BS degree
·       10+ years of demand generation experience, preferably in a high-tech environment
·       Understanding of enterprise software sales cycles, inbound and outbound technologies and benchmark
·       B2B technology marketing expert
·       Marketing data junkie with the ability to see the story beyond the numbers
·       Experience working with paid media
·       Experience partnering with SDRs and sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and deliver offers and campaigns that resonate deeply with prospects along the buyer’s journey
·       Hands on experience with lead forecasting, reporting, and analysis
·       Deep experience with Marketo and Salesforce
·       Ideal: Experience with 6sense, Drift, LeanData, and other modern Marketing tools
