    CryoSRV is in search of Repair Technicians in Schaumburg, Il area. Our company refurbishes and manufactures cryogenic systems and cryogenic sub-systems used in clinical, industrial, and scientific applications.     • Troubleshooting experience.

    • Has technical repair experience
    • Willing to travel to customer sites
    • Occasional overnight travel 

    Your Responsibilities
    • Participate in all training as necessary to develop a high level of technical competence in all repair technician job duties.
    • Will learn to repair and install cryogenic systems at CryoSRV's repair facility and potentially customer sites.
    • Begin training in becoming a complete qualified repair technician.
    • Be able to perform preventative maintenance inspections on all equipment.
    • Performs installation of piping systems in accordance with company SOP.
    • Learn operations of equipment such as helium compressors, cold heads, water chillers, superconducting magnets, fluid systems, and other related systems.
    • Will be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and complete required paperwork on a timely basis.
    • Adheres to and ensures that all safety policies and procedures are followed.
    • Learn to locate and diagnose problems. Be able to learn to correct and repair.
    • Be able to work various hours and days. Travel, overnights, and being on call will be required.
    • The trainee will be expected to complete all assigned duties in an appropriate amount of time, per job.



    Job Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must be mechanically inclined and be able to take direction. 
    • Willing to learn new things and be able to multitask. 
    • Understandings of power tools and P&id beneficial.
    • Is willing to understand the characteristics and hazards of cryogenic and high-pressure gases in general, and be able to retain knowledge and understanding of the products, containers and piping systems which will be encountered in the performance of their job duties.
    • Ability to work with cryogenic equipment, pumps, pressure piping, compressors, and to troubleshoot system problems.
    • Demonstrate good work ethics and customer service abilities

    • Basic understanding of welding, brazing processes (specifically silver brazing).
