The Emergent Care Hospice RN provides compassionate, hands-on nursing to patients and families by managing pain or other symptoms via round the clock care assisting in the process of death with dignity.
Life is better with compassion!
Patients and families near the end of life should have a caregiver that is committed to the art, science, and skill of delivering compassion. Death is a meaningful, experience, for patients and loved ones. We only have one chance to get it right.
Delivering compassion the right way isn’t easy. It takes skill, heart, commitment, and structure to do it well.
It’s worth the effort because… Nobody should die alone.
We believe organizations can do more. We believe this industry can be better. This is what we stand for at Crossroads Hospice. We exist because we don’t think it's a good thing to take a call from a family in pain by saying, “give them another pill and call me when they pass.” That is not compassion it's a transaction.
Everyone needs a business model, it's how you survive as a team. But we believe you have to do more. We have more experience working to deliver care the right way with the challenges of business today. And we aren’t compromising our promise. Advancing the meaning and importance of life by being good stewards of compassion and skill during the death process is worth working towards. That's what our business model is called Even More Care - and it’s what empowers us to do better, deliver compassion, and experience the meaning of why we became a nurse.
Look, we don’t pretend this isn’t a tough business, we don’t have to. The work we do with Crossroads is fulfilling to us. That is why we can be so honest in this ad. To grow, to listen, be heard and be challenged is about standing for something, together.
