As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add an I.T. Project Manager to help us drive projects through successful implementation. This person will report to the Sr. Director of Customer Success and will be mainly responsible for working from the end of the sales cycle, through the build (test and deployment), and a successful handoff to our support team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of software implementation project management experience, ideally within the healthcare administrative-side of healthcare providers. RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Lead strategic implementations from customer contract signature to go-live engaging all necessary functional areas throughout a health system.
● Responsible for overall project ownership, project success, and timely and accurate problem resolution or escalation as needed.
● Manage project tasks including project plans, communications, risk
management/mitigation, testing scripts, issue logs, and ensuring on time delivery of milestones.
● Coordinate with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and other internal departments.
● Provide executive leadership and stakeholders project status updates. Coordinate and facilitate project team meetings.
● Ensure high customer satisfaction while tactfully pushing projects to completion for customers who are often resource constrained.
● Lead process discussions to drive process transformation and to confirm measurable outcomes and ROI. Develop, maintain, and collaborate on project contingency plans.
● Lead customer communication management to assist with
marketing/training/communication to our customer stakeholders, including the following: recruiters, hiring managers, executives, and candidates.
● Provide optimization recommendations to Olive customers regarding how to best leverage the Olive product and where to incorporate leading industry practices.
● Enter high-risk projects mid-stream to “parachute” into complex customer situations, identify bottlenecks, and drive the project to a successful completion.
● Responsible for managing and updating project details in the designated project management software system(s).
● Assist in on-boarding IT Project Managers and collaboration to improve processes.
● Provides clear and concise hand-off instructions for support post go-live.
REQUIREMENTS:
● College degree or equivalent healthcare project management experience preferred.
● Master’s degree, PMP, or other project certifications (Lean Six Sigma or Scrum) a plus.
● At least 5+ years of hands-on customer and project management experience in the software industry.
● Experience with delivery enterprise software solutions, and experience with common electronic healthcare records such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech or similar a plus.
● Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills
● Ability to produce, and drive others to deliver high quality deliverables and results.
● A passion for outstanding customer service and proven success with large and complex customers.
● Experience leading multiple customer implementations, preferably in healthcare software, and comfortable bridging discussions between business, IT and operations.
● Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
● Experience implementing, configuring, and gathering requirements for the implementation of software projects.
● High degree of initiation and ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team structure.
