The Director of Automation Solutions Delivery is an experienced technical operator, responsible for developing and directing staff within the Delivery organization. The incumbent will own the planning, tracking, manpower assessment and execution of day-to-day operations, focused on the growth and expansion of Olive’s AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) offering in our Columbus, OH headquarters and remote sites throughout the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Direct multiple automation implementations and development teams to enhance productivity and efficiency throughout our customer’s operations.
- Manage day-to-day operations of a team of over 50 Engineers and Supervisors, both in our headquarters location and remote sites.
- Collaborate with Sales leaders, Project Managers and Solution Architects, in the initiation, planning and execution of complex healthcare automation development projects.
- Create manpower forecasts and track progress to company goals in a Professional Services Administration (PSA) system.
- Provide subject matter expertise and leadership that optimizes technical aspects of our delivery processes (architecture, business analysis, Agile development processes, and quality assurance).
- Monitor current project status, milestones, issues and key performance indicators and be the conduit of information and updates across the company.
- Develop, measure and report on team metrics and identify opportunities for improvement and effectively implement changes to increase the efficiency of operations.
- Work with various leaders in R&D Engineering, Sales, and Support to modify and enhance our delivery programs by responding to customer requests during the development process.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and negotiations.
- Take part in the building and implementation of a strong training and development program for Delivery team members
- Set performance standards for each role and provide frequent feedback to support the growth of each team member.
- Provide input and guidance to the team for presentations and updates to management and customers.
- Identifies opportunities for standardization of processes and working best practices and develop plans for implementation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in an operations and delivery environment with focus on technology implementations and process consulting
- A strong technical background with leadership experience.
- Working in-depth knowledge of the following: healthcare revenue cycle and supply chain, artificial intelligence, workflow automation, SaaS products, Scrum.
- Strong project or program management skills in a highly technical environment.
- Strong influencing and leadership skills; effective cross-functional driver.
- Demonstrated financial management, project profitability, and budgeting skills.
- Strong background in Software Delivery Management and Solution Architecture.
- Experience working in a pre-sales environment from project scoping and automation design.
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development/Product lifecycle methodologies.
- A thorough understanding of how to plan, resource, and deliver large-scale technical projects
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Make sound business decisions based on data and statistics while operating at an extremely fast pace within an entrepreneurial company.
