RPA Optimization Engineer

SUMMARY:
Olive is healthcare’s first intelligent digital workforce and has been successfully deployed at numerous healthcare systems across the country. Olive helps streamline and automate the most high-volume, repetitive tasks so healthcare professionals can concentrate on their patients and solving healthcare’s most challenging problems. 

Omega is our internal digital workforce operations center dedicated to ensuring that Olive shows up for work every day, does her job extremely well, and gets smarter over time. Omega is a product offering that supports Olive’s work for our customers. 

The RPA Optimization Engineer at Olive is internally referred to as the Omega Labs Engineer. The Labs Engineer works with current automations, improves current workflows, and implements new technical initiatives and changes to improve Olive’s work. As the Labs Engineer, you will work with the Omega engineering team to ensure that Olive is constantly evolving and getting better. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Own technical stories and assignments - from writing code, clarifying requirements, and meeting project timelines focused on Omega’s three parts of Olive’s promise:
    • Shows up for work every day: Work with other Omega Engineers to analyze the failures of live Olive customer plans and develop creative permanent resolution plans to eliminate chronic failure reasons
    • Does her job extremely well: Collaborate with the Omega team to implement performance improvement plans focused on improving the value of Olive’s work for her employers
    • Gets smarter over time: Identify opportunities to leverage Machine Learning and other advanced technologies to enhance the value Olive provides to our customers
  • Provide feedback to product and development teams to help improve our in house process automation tools
  • Embrace changing requirements and discover new functions for Olive to eliminate healthcare administrative challenges
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver automated tests for workflows
  • Document process, procedures, and training materials for staff and stakeholders
  • Attend daily stand-up and periodic team meetings
  • Assess business growth opportunities and support customer objectives

QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • 3-5 years experience in at least one of the following: automation engineering, quality engineering, systems administration, software engineering, or front-end web development
  • Bachelor’s Degree in math/technology/science related field or equivalent professional experience
  • Curious problem solver by nature; able to quickly make sense of complex data issues
  • Experience using a version control system such as GIT, Subversion, Team Foundation Server, etc.
  • Able to communicate technical issues with technical & non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Javascript, Ruby, Python, Java, C#, .Net, Visual Basic, R, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Machine learning, big data analytics or data science 
  • Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Autolt experience
  • Healthcare IT and EHR knowledge
  • Experience with SQL statements for data filtering and retrieval
