School Facility Manager

The Facility Manager is responsible for:
  • Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the school
  • Maintaining a clean and safe physical environment for all members of the school community
  • Collaborating with the Director of Finance and Operations to develop daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning and maintenance plans for the building, equipment, and grounds
  • Developing a preventative maintenance schedule for the facility and equipment and managing contractors to perform this work
  • Managing a facilities punch list
  • Performing light maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment
  • Responding to urgent facilities needs in a timely fashion 
  • Assisting with cafeteria services and cleaning as needed
  • Other tasks as may be assigned by the Director of Finance and Operation
 
Position Requirements:
  • Strong belief in the mission and values of Crescent City Schools
  • At least 2 years experience in a facilities management position
  • Experience in schools and/or around school-aged children preferred
  • Experience as a plumber, electrician, and/or maintenance person preferred
  • Experience with new smart building automation systems technology preferred
  • Experience managing others preferred
