Credit Kudos is a London-based venture-backed fintech startup and challenger credit bureau that uses financial behaviour to measure creditworthiness. Our technology transforms the way credit checking and credit scores work by generating a more accurate and holistic view of a borrower's creditworthiness. We’re working with lenders to help them make better, fairer credit decisions and with consumers to help them access fair, affordable credit.
We’re looking for a Product Manager to work on our cross-functional B2C squad, bringing our consumer product to market and owning its evolution. You’ll collect insights from research, our users and the market, and translate these into a clear product strategy and roadmap. You’ll organise your squad to execute on this, using a range of data types to evaluate and iterate towards our goals.
We’re a flat and transparent company, so you’ll be working directly with the founders and senior team.
Minimum qualifications/job requirements:
- At least two years’ experience working on a successful consumer product with a financial technology, lending or payments company
- Professional experience with Open Banking technology, implementation or products
- A bachelor's degree
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in end-to-end product management in software/web technologies.
- Knowledgeable across multiple functional areas such as product management, engineering, User Interface (UI), sales, customer support, finance or marketing.
- Entrepreneurial drive with appreciation of user experience (UX) and business/commercial issues.
What you will do:
- Use PM frameworks and practices to put the user at the heart of everything we do (we’re big fans of Jobs To Be Done)
- Shape and track product goals through the OKR framework
- Work closely with the data, b2b and platform squads to maximise efficiency
- Support your colleagues in product and engineering to improve processes and share lessons learned
- Channel insights from marketing, strategy, sales and customer support into the roadmap
- Equip all stakeholders with the product knowledge and tools they need
You will:
- Be happy to get your teeth into technical concepts and processes
- Have strong analytical skills to work through complex challenges in creative ways
- Be deeply passionate about the user
- Be ruthlessly organised and process-focused, ensuring nothing slips through the net
- Be a friendly and brilliant communicator - speaking, writing and listening
- Be self-motivated and able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
What we value:
- Motivation, enthusiasm and passion for our mission to take on the big credit bureaus
- Expansive thinking, transparency, honesty and a good sense of humour
- Results and efficiency rather than hours in the office
What you’ll get:
- Competitive salary between £47,000 and £57,000, depending on experience
- Flexible working arrangements, generous leave and a dog-friendly office. See full list of benefits - plus a bit more about working for us - here
- A ton of support, but an opportunity to run your own schedule and role
- The opportunity to develop your role and responsibilities as the company grows
