Job Description – Member Technical Staff - 
 
Working in an Agile software development environment, the Member Technical Staff, with the Management will be responsible for defining and managing the transformational leadership requirements of the organization.
 
This is a hands-on job that requires strategic thinking and planning to provide leadership and expertise throughout the entire development lifecycle across project and technology streams. This individual will also provide regular direction, mentorship, and coaching to development team members.
 
Defining qualities include bringing a can-do and responsible attitude, ability to prioritise work with proper look ahead planning, manage stress gracefully, make bold and hard decisions, manages one’s own time effectively, accurate record keeping and importantly, apply authority with tact to achieve consensus & win-win outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
 
Reporting to the Management, the duties and responsibilities of the Member Technical Staff include:
 
Technology management
  • Be agnostic to technology
  • Keep up with new technologies
  • Be hands-on when required on projects
  • Must be able to test under critical circumstances
  • Be highly available to team and to the client
  • Identify component needs and build components across technology streams.
  • Strategizing’s QA activities
  • Make test plans and execute
  • Implement automation where needed
  • Foresee the need of automation suits and develop them
  • Find new tools in the market which suit our need
  • Understand trend in the market and develop best practices in the companies
  • Coordination with development and QA team for smooth


Project Management
  • Perform Design review
  • Perform Code review
  • Perform Requirements review
  • Perform Root cause analysis
 
Administrative Functions
  • Participate in hiring process, conduct interviews and evaluate candidates across technology streams.
  • Mentoring People
  • Training People.
  •

  • Push the envelope of technology to keep up with client & market needs
  • Be a change agent
  • Evolve with the changing needs of the market
  • Evolve with changing needs of our organization
  • Prioritize active communication with stakeholders
