The candidate is responsible for working with our team to envision and define the next generation of products at Corva. They will be responsible for researching and learning new areas of industry, interviewing customers, guiding our subject matter experts, building user stories, wireframes, and production-grade compositions. This position is perfect for a user experience designer that asks all the right questions and wants to be on the ground floor of new products.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Research and learn new areas of industry
• Interview customers and subject matter experts
• Create ideas that improve the life of the user
• Guide and manage design workshops
• Develop user stories and personas
• Wireframe new product workflows
• Design and annotate production-grade comps
• Organize monthly reviews with management
• Ensure all work is prioritized and completed correctly
• Prepare written reports regarding status and progress
• Other duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
• Extensive knowledge of design thinking
• Minimum of 2 (two) years as a designer
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe illustrator & photoshop
• Ability to present effectively to groups of people
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Leadership skills and ability to work well with teams effectively
• Four-year degree
• Thorough knowledge of navigating modern web sites
• Analytical thinking skills
• Ability to train others
Recommended but not required:
• Experience in upstream oil & gas
• Experience in data analytics
