People Operations Analyst

The candidate is responsible for working with our team to recruit and hire the next generation of superstars who work at Corva. The People Operations Analyst will be responsible for the coordination and administration of day-to-day operations and office management.  

 Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support the People Operations Department in implementing programs to improve the employee experience
  • Maintain the company’s HRMS 
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Research and get-to-know possible candidates
  • Thoughtful and efficient interviewing 
  • Administration of benefits program
  • Support HSE requirements for new hires
  • Ensure compliance with policies as needed 
  • Maintain confidential records
  • Support any employee relations issues
  • Ensure all work is prioritized and completed correctly
  • Prepare written reports regarding status and progress
  • Other duties as required

 Qualifications and Skills
 
Required:
  • Extensive knowledge of recruiting and hiring process
  • Minimum of 3 (three) years in HR
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to present effectively to groups of people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to work well with teams effectively
  • Four-year degree
  • Thorough knowledge of navigating modern web sites 
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to train others 
 
 Recommended but not required:
  • Experience in upstream oil & gas
  • Experience in software company
  • Working knowledge of drilling software
