What we are looking for:
A successful Business Development Associate, our term for an Inside Sales Representative, will come to the table with working B2B sales experience, preferably with Channel sales.  The Business Development Associate is responsible for opening new doors and qualifying leads that are sent to you.  You will possess an innate ability to tell stories – specifically our story – to qualified prospects.  This team member should have a charisma that allows them to build rapport quickly.  You are also responsible for high-level demonstrations and booking appointments for additional sales opportunities.  Our Rockstars possess grit, stamina, and resiliency that allow them to complete a high number of cold calls daily while maintaining positivity and motivation to exceed goals.

What you will do:
  • Conduct high volume telemarketing through mostly cold-calls to qualify leads.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
  • Schedule online product demonstrations for an assigned Sales Representative
  • Work diligently and collaboratively to ensure proper quality and quantity of demonstrations
  • Conduct Needs Assessments via discovery-question calls with specific prospects as assigned
  • Track and maintain contacts and sales process through CRM tools
  • Respond to inbound inquiries
  • Follow up on cancelled appointments

What you will need:
  • 1+ year experience in B2B telemarketing sales
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree; or comparable experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience calling and generating interest from C-level executives
  • Administrative skills that include setting appointments and webinar/web demonstration skills.
  • Success in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Internal motivation to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • A competitive nature and history of successful wins
  • An innate ability to overcome objections
  • Creative problem solving and Out-of-the-Box solutions
  • Strong organizational skills, and CRM application skills ( or similar)
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to follow process
  • Knowledgeable in social media for business - LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc
  • Ability to type without tracking finger movements
  • Tech-savvy
