What we are looking for:
We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Lead Generation & Research Specialist. As a member of the Revenue team, you will help drive the engine that powers the company’s sales department. The ideal candidate is a data driven, self-starter who has the ability to work on and drive multiple initiatives in order to meet goals. You must love learning new things and mastering new processes and programs quickly. This role will report to the Business Development Manager, who reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. This is a hands-on role with no direct reports at the current time.
What you will do:
- Maintain existing, and expand into new relationships with third-party research, data firms, agencies, and contractors
- Maximize third party expenses within annual budget in support of achieving or exceeding objectives and key results
- Validate and enrich contact info of prospects and review leads to check for minimum quality criteria
- Flag tasks and duplicate data records as redundant if data in marketing automation and CRM applications indicates lead pursuit
- Enter lead generation contact data into Marketing Automation & CRM applications and route to the Inside Sales team for follow up
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to ensure the continuity and accuracy of all data
- Track and measure lead progress through sales process, and report on metrics and outcome
- Make recommendations and implement improvements to processes and technologies in support of improving the quality, quantity and conversion of leads
- Design, develop and execute on various campaigns (in conjunction with marketing) in support of outbound prospecting enabling business development reps to enroll new contacts and ensure lead nurturing of all opportunities throughout the sales process, using CRM tools including Hubspot and Salesforce
- Work closely with Business Development Associates and Channel Account Executives (inside sales team)
- Examine and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to gain insight into lead effectiveness and develop, review and implement improvements with key stakeholders
What you will need:
- 3-5 years of lead generation/outbound marketing experience at a high-tech company
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Experience with configuring CRM tools (Hubspot preferred), in support of lead generation program execution and metrics reporting
- Hubspot certifications a plus
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Experience with both direct and channel-driven lead generation programs
- Proven results with successfully designing, peer-validating, implementing, reporting and improving on lead generation programs and processes
- Experience in researching, compiling and reporting on data & trends
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem resolution and decision-making skills
- Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity and multiple assignments and deadlines associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to manage in-house and third-party resources in attainment of key results
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Google tools
- Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable goals, quota, and quantifiable results
- Deep understanding of marketing funnel
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Self starter who is excited to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment
