Customer Account Director looking for an exciting opportunity with
one of the fastest growing applications in the Salesforce ecosystem. This is a full-time job in our Chicago office.
With a strong/established customer base, the Customer Account Director will leverage a strategic approach to engage with customers and be able to identify and manage new revenue opportunities in existing accounts. The Customer Account Director will work proactively and collaboratively with our customers, channel partners and supporting customer success teams.
We have key accounts that we want to expand. You will be assigned named accounts to expand into new divisions that are untouched in their business. These are entities with more than 10000 employees that have dozens of divisions to land and expand. We expect that the accounts can be sold a site-wide license and expand our revenue footprint.
Your goal will be to expand the revenue on these accounts and you will be responsible for generating 2.5 mm in new revenue annually.
This is a sales hunter role, not a customer success position. You will be expected to live with your named accounts, travel to meet them, leverage them for introductions. You will work with salesforce core, platform, CSG, program architects to triangulate sales.
This individual must have a track record of working existing accounts and proven success with land and expand in fortune 1000 businesses.

Responsibilities
- Build relationships with key contacts within an assigned set of customer accounts
- Create an account strategy to drive sales within those accounts
- Proactively identify needs and business opportunities at customer accounts
- Understand customer growth goals, strategies & initiatives, and understand how to expand our footprint at established customers.
- Work with the Customer Success Managers to monitor post-sale satisfaction
- Generate ideas for new revenue generation
- Attend Salesforce trade shows and events for lead generation and customer engagement.
- Participate in all product training, and certifications to continually develop the expertise of the Copado solution, vision, and strategy.
- Manage account engagements and forecast in Salesforce CRM.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team and organization that is growing rapidly.
Qualifications
- 3+ years Experience in Salesforce ecosystem
- Proven record of sales or account growth success in a software application
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
- Exposure to DevOps sector a big plus.
