DESCRIPTION
COPA90 is seeking a Programmatic Media Manager to be based in London.

The Media department is responsible for delivering paid, owned & earned media campaigns on behalf of COPA90’s Clients (both internal and external). External clients include Brands, Agencies and Broadcaster/OTT partners. Internally, the department works closely with our Editorial and Creative functions and is a key partner for the Copa90 Commercial function.  

The successful candidate will lead the development of a market leading tech stack to enable efficient monetisation of our owned and partner network properties. As well as building out our owned platforms, we have and are developing an exclusive network of partner sites that we need to manage and maximise the programmatic sales and margins of.

The role is all encompassing and will be responsible for all activation, optimisation and reporting of our programmatic solutions, ensuring best practice across the board. 

The candidate will effectively own our programmatic offering both in terms of campaign delivery and tactics but also the future development of the product and media solution within COPA90. So there is a real scope for a self-starter to build a new product, team and critical function within COPA90 from scratch.

One of our most analytical roles, we’re looking for Maths, Economics or Computer Science graduates with a strong maths/problem solving background. You’ll be involved in all of our ad-ops processes, helping the team setup and optimise adverts for properties so experience within a similar digital publisher is key.
 
In this role, you’ll be executing trades or “programmatic buys”. The ideal candidate will be digitally savvy, have an interest with digital tracking and an understanding of advertising pixels.
 
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
·       Be the primary interface for technical implementation of ad tech partners across COPA90 and key partner properties.
·       Responsible for all activation, optimisation and reporting, ensuring best practice across the board.
·       Provide in-depth reporting of campaign delivery and troubleshooting for clients.
·       Plan a deliver a 
·       Understand traffic acquisition channels to support effective monetisation of different audiences.
·       Work closely with the product and engineering teams to improve our technology solutions for clients and internal users.
·       Help facilitate programmatic within content syndication 
·       Work with a variety of teams across sales, media trading and product.
·       Educate internal teams to ensure consistent client communication about our capabilities
·       Develop client media and product strategies to help define and set clear KPIs for campaigns.
 
 
 REQUIREMENTS
·       Experience in ad operations/ad trafficking, web analytics implementation
·       Passion for optimising processes - both internally and for our clients
·       Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize your time
·       Eagerness to work in a rapidly growing team and company and take on new challenges yet to be tackled by the industry.
·       Willingness to work collaboratively across teams of varying technical ability and geographies to get the job done.
·       Understanding of HTML5, JavaScript and VAST/VPAID / MRAID
·       Be a good explainer. Be able to hold a complex amount of material in their heads, and communicate to different groups of people differently, with the right level of context and specificity (eg: execs vs engineers vs customers)
·       Ability to take on large tasks without being micromanaged
·       Ideally expertise in planning and delivering campaigns on Adwords, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat (working knowledge of YouTube and Facebook organic environments an advantage)
·       Strongly numerate and comfortable manipulating data sets
