THE ROLE
To succeed in this role, you should be detail-oriented, super organized, and a reliable problem-solver.
This is a role reporting to the product manager. This passionate, motivated individual will be responsible for planning and managing our course pipeline, instructor sourcing, and setting up courses in our LMS.
Key responsibilities:
- Instructor management: ensure that CXL Institute has the very best names in marketing as instructors. Instructor recruitment, vetting, communication, scheduling.
- Managing the course calendar: making sure we roll out a certain amount of courses every month, make sure the external calendar is up to date
- Improve the learning experience for our customers
Ongoing tasks:
- Follow product development from start to finish, which includes providing feedback on the overall experience, writing user stories, working closely with the product manager and engineering team, and ensuring quality of the end product
- World-class instructor sourcing. CXL Institute always brings the best practitioners to teach online courses
- Instructor vetting. Making sure the instructor candidates are the best of the best
- Course pipeline planning. We plan our courses 6+ months in advance, typically do 3-4 per month. You need to prepare our pipeline based on our existing course catalog, user requests, what's hot in the market and demand in general.
- Scheduling webinars, running webinars with instructors, scheduling course filming with instructors, booking locations
- Manage course assets, request missing assets from instructors, make sure that all materials are there when we release courses to the public
- Set assistant to our videography team during filming
- Working with instructors on curriculum development (not developing the content, but helping with structure planning and general project management)
- Track budgets and negotiate contracts with instructors
- Manage bug and support documentation, work with our customer success people to accurately document and identify the root cause of problems
- Collect and analyze product usage data, feedback from stakeholders and end-users, to shape requirements, and prioritize product features and issues
