Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Upload and transfer of project drawings and bidding documents to subcontractors and vendors
- Contact clients and landlords for project information
- Responsible for all subcontractor solicitation and bid coverage for a complete scope on each project
- Produce construction project bids as needed with Estimator support
- Develop and maintain project reports
- Enter, update, and maintain relevant data within the Estimating database (Procore, Smartbid.net, One Team)
- Produce innovative ideas and solutions in relation to our current bidding processes
- Perform bid walks and attend preconstruction meetings with clients and subcontractors
- Draft project budgets and schedules for Estimator review
- Provide detailed and accurate quantity take-offs
- Assemble pre-bid questions and draft RFIs for submittal
- Additional duties as required
- Travel as needed
Work Experience & Education Requirements:
- Prior estimating experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative, team focused, administrative, computer and interpersonal skills commensurate with the requirements of the position
- Degree in construction management, engineering, or business related field preferred
