Account Executive

Concert is a sales commission platform that drives better individual and company performance through real-time reporting and motivating targets.   If you love to learn, love to help, and have a nagging feeling that commission plans probably should be better than they are, we need your help.

We are looking to hire an Account Executive to join our sales team. As an AE at Concert, you will help us grow the business by identifying future customers, understanding how their business needs align with our value and working internally to provide the right resources for the customer’s success. You will be joining a team of experienced, passionate people working together to solve the “boring” problem of sales commissions in impactful, interesting ways.

Here’s what you’ll do: 
  • Build targeted account lists and identify the appropriate contacts at each account
  • Develop, personalize and refine sequences to educate and inspire prospects
  • Engage existing contacts on an ongoing basis with our knowledge base, insights, and research to help them develop a strong understanding of the links between real-time reporting and performance
  • Lead a real discovery: listen closely and ask lots of clarifying questions to understand challenges
  • Identify areas in which the customer will realize significant value from the product 
  • Negotiate contracts and get them to signature
  • Work closely with our CS team to ensure a smooth account transition, and that customers have a short time-to-value
  • Participate in content roadmap and product roadmap meetings
  • Give feedback on new rep-facing product features
  • Are open to acting out of your title-- we’re a small team so we all pitch in on things big and small (and sometimes annoying)


Preferred Experience
  • 4+ years sales experience with a desire to close new business deals
  • Pipeline building, including cold outreach, multichannel engagement, and research
  • Experience writing concise and personable communications 
  • Understanding of Sales Compensation, SaaS Metrics, and ASC 606/IFRS 15 Accounting 
  • Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other outbound messaging tools (Salesloft, Outreach, MixMax, etc.) experience a plus
