Concert is a venture-backed platform that changes the way that companies around the country manage incentive compensation and performance-based pay. If you love to sell, love to learn, and want to make sure teams have compensation plans that actually work, then we need your help.
As our first sales employee, this is an opportunity to be a pioneer in the incentive compensation space. Building on the success we’ve seen with our early customers, you will prospect, qualify, pitch, and close sales with mid-market and enterprise companies in close partnership with the rest of the team.
Concert is the only product in-market that combines flexible, conversational setup and turnkey ASC 606 compliance (that’s a new, painful accounting rule!), with reporting and recommendations that drive better performance. We bring a real solution that works to one of the most underserved areas of the enterprise.
You’ll start from an outstanding foundation. In just 20 months, Concert has been through the Techstars NY Accelerator, has been named to Work-Bench’s Enterprise Seed Startups to Watch in 2019, and has spoken at SaaStr, StackSummit, and WorldatWork. In addition, our Master Class program has made hundreds of comp plans more effective.

We’d love to hear from you if you:
- You will prospect, qualify, pitch and close sales
- Know how to make a complex sale—you can assemble a buying group and inspire prospects and customers with a sense of what’s possible
- Have experience leveraging content and thought leadership to drive prospect engagement and conversion
- Are comfortable with online demos, but also enjoy onsite client visits
- Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
- Understand what it means to compete as part of a team and you can easily communicate if they are remote
- Have experience running the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to kickoff
- Have a point of view but are willing to learn from others
- Have a track record of trying and learning new things
We’d be especially excited if you’ve worked at a SaaS startup before. If you have any prior experience with commission plans (good or bad) and any experience with accounting, don’t forget to mention it.
