Chef / Area Manager

We are seeking a classically trained Chef with a high level of management experience, style, agility, and flexibility to be responsible for a core region in various parts of the country. Below are more details about the job, but come know you want to apply already! ;) 

Qualified Candidates should meet the following requirements:
  • Always positive, outgoing attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively and establish productive relationships with chefs, students, house directors and alumni
  • 24/7 availability/flexibility & the ability to travel at a moment's notice
  • Ability to recognize and implement the level and style of management involvement required for any given situation
  • Reliable personal transportation & a valid driver's license
  • ServSafe Manager's certificate or equivalent
  • Must have passion for food, customer service, & a highly diverse culinary knowledge
  • Polished, professional appearance and demeanor 
  • Sense of humor, and the ability to not take oneself too seriously

Job Duties will include: 
  • Interviewing and hiring Staff - phone/online/in-person
  • Culinary Leadership
  • Effective budgetary assistance where necessary
  • Monitor Service, Quality and Customer Satisfaction in all accounts
  • Manage timely,fiscally responsible budget and menu submissions
  • Effectively manage conflict resolution
  • Effectively document periodic service check ups for each account
  • Effectively manage a travel schedule and budget, as well as expense reporting
