We are currently searching for a Kitchen Assistant to support our Chef and Sous Chef -- someone with good knife skills, a basic understanding of sautéing, baking, grilling and preparing sauces using from-scratch recipes or under the direction from the Chefs.
You will learn a lot on this job under the direction of the Chefs, but the right candidate will have these skills on at least a basic level starting on day one.
For this position, the ability to take direction, work under pressure and maintain high standards of cleanliness & organization in a fast-paced kitchen is a necessity. We are looking for that certain individual who enjoys making rock-star quality food and is committed to holding themselves to a higher standard in order to better themselves & further their career. Must also possess a passion for what you do and a valid sense of humor!
