Sales Development Representative

Coder’s Mission 
Coder builds developer tools that power engineers at some of the world’s greatest companies. Coder’s mission is to accelerate the workflow of software engineers by harnessing the power of the cloud. 

As an SDR, you will work directly with our sales team to drive the companies growth by penetrating new accounts and leading strategic conversations with prospects.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a team player and be able to manage multiple timelines and deliverables simultaneously within a tech startup environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel Coder growth.
  • Partner with an Account Executive to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month.
  • Engage development professionals via phone, email, and other channels to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for Coder to solve them.
  • Have the autonomy to operate beyond your role and help the team continuously improve and optimize our process, training, use of technology, and any other aspects of our business.

Day to day tasks Include:
  • Pre-call research and planning
  • Make a high volume of calls per day
  • Follow-up with previous contacts (nurturing leads)
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records
  • Work closely with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
