Description: The Basic Life Support (ALS) Instructor teaches American Heart Association courses in the BLS and Heartsaver disciplines at Code One’s facilities and off-site at client locations. BLS Instructors deliver the quality training that adheres to the standards of Code One Training Solutions, LLC and the American Heart Association.
BLS Instructors are responsible to assess the competencies of course participants, deliver training courses, evaluate participant skills, and complete related course paperwork (skills sheets, exams, rosters).
Requirements:
- Current certification or licensure as a healthcare professional including EMT, RN, Paramedic, Respiratory, or similar.
- Current provider certifications in American Heart Association BLS.
- Relevant experience in a critical care environment (ED, ICU, Prehospital, OR)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate with participants
- Ability to work independently
Preferred:
- Instructor certification in BLS. Code One will provide instructor training and credentialing for qualified candidate(s) selected for this position.
- Relevant classroom experience.
