IT Support Engineer

CMT is seeking outstanding IT Support Engineer to join us in building technology to reliably collect and manage data from sensors on smartphones and connected devices in vehicles. As a member of our IT group, you will help accomplish our mission by taking responsibility for the maintenance and deployment of our internal hardware and software resources, while acting as a resource to internal stakeholders in need of technical support. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a major part in creating systems, integrations, and other processes within our IT and group as our company scales. CMT is made up of collaborative, customer-committed, and creative experts that enjoy working in a fast-paced and fun environment. We are looking for high performers to help build global-scale solutions to improve safety in an evolving mobile world.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Design, develop, and implement systems, integrations, and other processes to meet IT group requirements
  • Implement procedures and controls to drive adoption of, and adherence to, best practices
  • Advise internal stakeholders on best practices for IT
  • Procure, install, configure, and deliver hardware and software for internal customers
  • Respond to internal requests for technical assistance in a timely manner
  • Diagnose and treat the root cause of technical issues brought to you by internal stakeholders
  • Assist in the generation of documentation for current and future IT group processes
  • Assist in the identification of security related issues
  • Coordinate with vendors on business application and software integration requirements
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand evolving needs
 
Required Qualifications
 
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support
  • Experience with OS X, Windows, Linux, AWS
  • Experience with Symantec Endpoint protection
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Customer service mindset
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Willingness to mentor junior team members
