Customer Account Manager

Cloudbakers is looking for smart, energetic, and personable business professionals for a Customer Account Manager position. We are looking for someone that is passionate about people and providing value to those we work with. Our ideal candidate will also have proven customer management skills, strong business acumen and aptitude with 3-5 years of relevant experience in technology. Roles and Responsibilities

A Customer Account Manager’s responsibilities and duties are as follows: 
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business and industry, including familiarity with their digital business objectives, across multiple industries and verticals
  • Be a client advocate and develop a trusted advisor relationship with the clients you support to continue to drive the value of our products and services
  • Proactively manage the success of our clients through various means of communication including phone calls, emails, newsletters, and meetings
  • Design and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) for select clients 
  • Ensure client resolution when handling license renewals, upgrades, and general non-technical support.
  • Generate quotes related to certain products such as hardware, license additions, trainings and subscriptions
  • Discover up-sell/cross-sell opportunities to maximize growth and client adoption.
  • Participate in project closeout meetings as a bridge to account management team
  • Provide customer feedback to Cloudbakers’ leadership team and propose opportunities to improve service.
  • Collaborate with key resources including engineers, support, operations, salespeople, marketing as well as Google Cloud engineers.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, hence, nurturing clients into evangelists.
  • Provide the knowledge, skills, attitude and work ethic to be successful in your role
  • Anything else that needs to be done that adds value to the business, our clients and your co-workers

Qualifications
  • Technical account management, consultative selling or proven customer service experience
  • Confident working with people across all levels of organizations, ranging from end users to C-level executives
  • Calm, positive, and upbeat even under high-pressure or unpredictable circumstances
  • Impeccable follow-up and organizational skills
  • Meets challenges with resourcefulness using strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and is an effective team player
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying close attention to detail
  • Ability and desire to take initiative
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed and requested

Power Boosting Competencies
  • Strong technical and/or Cloud technology aptitude
  • Expert level familiarity with G Suite 
  • Comfort with Google Cloud Platform, or other public cloud offerings
  • Experience using CRM systems 
  • Analytical mindset and presentation savvy
