Job Description
Clora is looking for a entrepreneurially-minded sales leader to help to build and execute go-to-market activities.
This opportunity is for a mid-level sales professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong working knowledge of the Life Science Industry. Candidates should be excited to define, develop, and execute a plan that delivers on Clora’s aggressive growth expectations. Candidates will have the ability to influence the direction and success of a rapidly growing start-up as one of the first commercial hires at the company. This role will have high visibility and the opportunity to partner directly with the leadership team.  

Responsibilities
  • Prospect, identify leads, and convert business for Clora.
  • Effectively communicate the Clora value proposition to a variety of audiences across relevant use-cases.
  • Build & maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, including qualifying, validating, and assessing opportunities with new prospects, and identifying and analyzing new strategic opportunities with existing clients.
  • Partner with Customer Success team to create and deliver solutions that meet the clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.  
  • Work closely with other functions to proactively shape marketing, other go-to-market initiatives, and product enhancements.
  • Shape further sales team growth, most immediately the addition of one or more Business Development Representatives.
  • Participate in annual business planning with quarterly business reviews.

Qualifications
  • BA degree required, Master's degree (MBA, MS) preferred.  
  • 3-8 years of sales experience, ideally selling a technology platform, consulting, or information services in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or medical devices industries.
  • Scientific background, having transitioned into scientific or technology related sales or consultancy roles is ideal.
  • Complete proficiency with Salesforce, Hubspot, and various prospecting tools.  
  • Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and triage competing priorities. Experience working at a startup is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to confidently interact with senior industry stakeholders.
