Junior Support Technician - Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our expanding Support team, to help us support our global and ever-growing customer base. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our customers as well as performing platform installations, upgrades, and maintenance on both Windows & Linux operating systems on a daily basis.
Junior Support Technician - Responsibilities include:
As a Junior Support Technician, you will be mainly working on:
- Providing customer support via:
- Our support ticketing system
- Email
- Telephone
- Installing Windows and Linux web servers for customers
- Installing and upgrading the Claromentis framework and third party applications
- Completing change requests that are escalated from the customer support team
- Assisting with the installation and maintenance of our local IT infrastructure and providing support to other employees when needed
Junior Support Technician - Important qualities include:
- Proactive problem solving
- Great communication skills and written English
- Enjoys working in a team
- A passion for learning and developing your skills (we provide the training!)
- A basic knowledge of different operating systems, such as Windows, Mac and Linux
- A-Levels or equivalent work experience
Junior Support Technician - Beneficial qualities include:
- Previous experience of working within the tech industry
- An understanding of HTML / PHP based web applications
- Awareness of MySQL/MSSQL databases
- Basic command line / bash experience
- Experience with the Google Cloud Platform
