Mail Handling And Records Management

Position Description:
  • This is a full-time position located at AFTC Edwards Air Force Base (Lancaster, CA.).
  • Provide support in preparation of outgoing USPS mail including all administrative documentation.
  • Responsibilities include verifying correct postage, proper handling and documentation of classified mail, and ensuring only official mail is being processed.
  • Use a computer as required for email, as well as appropriate software to create entries and maintain accurate information for logging purposes.
  • Accurate sorting, routing, and delivery of all inbound mail to correct mail stops each day.
  • Receive and record all accountable mail pieces daily, as well log costs and volumes for monthly and annual reporting purposes.
  • Support daily delivery of mail to AFRL, AFTC, and Plant 42.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of four years of general supply experience.
  • Ability to maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
  • Clean driving record with the ability to be insured on company vehicle.
  • Position requires the ability to bend, stand and lift boxes and items weighing up to 70 pounds.

  • Life / AD&D Insurance – Regular, full-time employees are offered a $50,000.00 Life Insurance and AD&D policy at no cost to the employee.
  • Short-Term Disability Insurance – Regular, full-time employees are offered Short Term Disability Insurance no cost to the employee.
  • 401(k) – Regular, full-time employees who are at least 21 years of age have the option of participating in the 401(k) plan.
  • Education Assistance Program – Regular, full-time employees with at least one full year of service with ClancyJG International may continue their education in a related field relevant to the ClancyJG International business base. ClancyJG International will reimburse for the portion of the registration and tuition that was pre-approved up to $2,000.00 per calendar year.
