As a Jr. Project Manager you will assist in the revitalization and construction of our surrounding areas. A Jr. Project Manager will see a project from beginning to end in order to satisfy customer needs in the most efficient way possible. To perform this position sufficiently, the employee must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Completely understand the project management process
- Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision
- Understand project goals and deadlines
- Have a comprehensive understanding of all cost involved
- Develop project leads
- Create the schedule for each project and match the talent to the job
- Propose value-added budget ideas
- Follow up on proposals
- Negotiate with owners and sub-contractors
- Solicit and evaluate sub-contractor quotes
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum education level of a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business or a related field
- 2 years of experience in Construction or related field
- Experience with Specialty Contractors or a "Self-Performing" contractor
- Experience in sales/marketing a plus
Travel
Travel to and from job-sites is required. Our client will compensate for travel expenses if applicable.
