SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Strong mathematical ability to measure and convert numerical data to improve processes
  • Mechanical reasoning skills to assess a piece of equipment and understand how it functions
  • Knowledge of tool room safety and proper handling of equipment

  • Ability to read gauges and measurement devices used to verify dimensions of parts

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to lift 60 pounds and carry across distances of more than 100 feet
  • Running grinders, mills, welders, drill presses, cranes, hilos and other industrial equipment

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Some college or technical/trade school

OTHER DUTIES
Work on existing and future projects, die repairs, upgrades, and stamping materials throughout the plant as needed for the job. Learn the proper use of all tools and equipment and where necessary become licensed on equipment. Follow all safety rules set forth by Federal, State, and Local jurisdictions. Diligently adhere to the use of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
