Seeking an individual with a strong interest in a clinical practice with a demonstrated focus on intraoperative neurophysiology monitoring.
The candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and capacity to work collaboratively with other neurologists, technicians, anesthesiologists, neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons.
Performs all technical aspects involved in all aspects of intra-operative monitoring including but not limited to: EEG, Evoked Potential, Motor Mapping, EMG and TcMEP studies. Provides information to patients regarding neuromonitoring to insure understanding and minimize anxiety. Abstract relevant information to Clinical Director and Medical Staff of all pertinent information and changes to ensure the highest quality of care to patients. Providing technical neuromonitoring to the departments of Neurosurgery, Vascular surgery, Cardiothoracic surgery, Otorhinolaryngology, Oral/Maxillofacial, Orthopedic surgery, Trauma and Neuroradiology.
- Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Neurology residency program.
- Must be board eligible/certified in Neurology.
- Must have completed or currently completing a Neurophysiology or Intraoperative Monitoring fellowship.
