Technicians needed to perform Transcranial Doppler scans. Formal training will be provided. Transcranial Doppler (TCD) is a diagnostic tool, using ultrasound technology that assess the cerebral vasculature system noninvasively.
The TCD tech interfaces with physicians and allied medical professionals to educate patients/families regarding the procedure, treatments performed, and assure patient comfort while demonstrating a professional behavior. Techs must ensure proper patient identification and demonstrate competence in performing prescribed procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Must be willing to participate in further training.
- Knowledge and understanding of human anatomy and ultrasound technology.
- Formal training as a medical technician and/or certification as a Ultrasound technician preferred.
- Ability to work with a diverse staff and patient population.
Minimum of one year of medical experience.
