Salesforce Developer/Solutions Architect

 

Description
CirrusLabs is looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our digital team, with a specific focus on supporting Salesforce.com implementation/integration opportunities.

Responsibilities


  • Partner with the Cirrus Labs Digital sales team to drive new services revenue
  • Works directly with clients and the Cirrus Labs Digital team to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, develops and delivers key components of technology solution.
  • Estimates design and development of custom solutions on the Force.com platform including declarative customization, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, data modeling, integration, and data migration.
  • Judge the feasibility and tradeoff of different technologies and make choices that fit the constraints of the project.
  • Develop business requirements, specifications, process flows, application design, application configuration, test processes and release management.
  • Accurately estimates the time required for yourself or others to complete particular assignments.
  • Delegates to, guides, and follows up with other Cirrus Labs Digital resources to implement any of the above solutions, as necessary.
  • Provides technical support in sales calls, solution presentations, and assists the Enterprise Account Executive with managing the deal cycle
  • Translates customer business objectives and requirements into solutions and level-of-effort estimates to implement those solutions
  • Provides input for RFI and RFP responses, including the effort estimate, project team, timeline, implementation methodology and solution components
  • Delivers excellent services sales presentations to the customer in support of the sales process
  • Acts as trusted advisor to customers by anticipating customer needs and identifying appropriate solution alternatives
  • Responds to customer questions and objections on technical issues
  • Validates technical recommendations against customer requirements and assists with preparing statements of work
  • Provides informal training and mentoring skills to customers and other Cirrus Labs Digital employees
  • Manage a high volume of deals with a variety of industries and functions.

Education and Required Experience (Requirements)


  • BS in Computer Science, Software engineering, MIS or Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of on-the-job experience with enterprise-level, cloud-based systems and solutions or web-based system development processes.
  • 2+ years of implementation experience with Salesforce.com
  • Ability to take joint ownership of the assigned accounts/opportunities with the Account Executive and lead account management on technical issues
  • Experience interacting with C-level and key enterprise stakeholders in an advisory capacity
  • Ability to understand and explain related technical issues, and skills related to working and resolving problems in customer accounts
  • Experience in custom application development preferred
  • Prior pre-sales experience required; estimation experience highly preferred
  • Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with ability to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across sales, delivery, operations, etc.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce technologies or comparable experience in HTML, JavaScript, Java, relational databases, SQL, ETL tools, etc.
  • 3+ years of software development, Salesforce development experience preferred
  • One or more current Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer 1 or 2, App Builder, Administrator/Advanced Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud) preferred
  • Located and able to work in the U.S. from a home office and able to travel up to 40-60%

A Technical Lead designs and implements the key technical components of the solution and helps direct Cirrus Labs Digital technical resources to develop and deliver the project deliverables.  The Technical Lead reduces the overall project technical risk by uncovering design issues early in the project life-cycle, shares implementation best practices, and recommends solution alternatives.  Additionally, the Technical Lead partners with the Technical Architect to conduct design/code reviews during major project milestones. This is a hands-on role that requires technical experience and abilities with Salesforce.com and related cloud technologies.
