On-Boarding Coordinator

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate is a personable, organized, detail-oriented individual who can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The On-Boarding Coordinator plays an integral part in ensuring the company’s new hires are properly oriented and trained, existing employees continue to grow in their skill set and career path, and retention remains a top priority. This position will report directly to the HR Manager. You'll be successful in this role if you have strong customer service skills, thrive in a team environment and enjoy contributing to the bigger picture. You will have to manage your time effectively, be detail oriented, a critical thinker, and be a problem solver. You will be on the front lines providing excellent customer service to both your internal and external customers.


Primary Responsibilities

On-Boarding/Off-Boarding

·         Assist with new employee onboarding, collecting new hire documents
·         Administrative support/customer service calls - background calls/emails, follow up emails to managers and vendors
·         Conduct New Hire Orientation sessions 
·         Follow-up with new hires to solicit daily feedback and ensure New Hire questionnaires are completed timely and accurately.
·         Background Checks & E-Verify completed, electronic copy saved, and results communicated to the employee and necessary parties
·         Work closely with the Benefits Coordinator to maintain employee benefit files, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentially. i.e : enrollments, terminations, verifications, I9 status and State regulations.
·         Assist Payroll Coordinator in adding new-hires, the preparation of payroll, providing deductions, rate changes, transfers etc.
·         System Updates - transfers, data change, end date, proprietary database updates
·         Reporting to management, including start date and end date report, audit report, compliance report, contact report, technology start report, extension report, background check report.
·         Responsible for educating the employee regarding all aspects of working for CirrusLabs, including end client conduct, health insurance availability, internal company contacts, etc. 
·         Facilitate the Exit Interviews, recommend and implement retention initiatives.
·         Supervises, promotes and enforces compliance of company policies rules and procedures

Training

·         Coordinate and supervise the training and development skills of new hires as well as existing employees, while enhancing productivity, and quality of work
·         Oversee Training Team to include assisting in the selection as required and creating and implementing best practices.
·         Facilitate the training and onboarding of multiple employee types, include contract, full-time, and temporary.
·         Arrange on the job training for new hires to include meet and greets with Supervisor, Lead, Trainer, and other associates
·         Recommend, assist in the creation and ongoing effectiveness of training initiatives and best practices 
·         Promote training to include cross-training, transfers, and skill improvement & develop best practices for program

Requirements

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
·         Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
·         BS/MS degree in Human Resources or related field
·         Immigration knowledge preferred
·         Experience with Docusign, ADP software a plus
·         Ability to interface well with all levels of management, government agencies, peers and maintain effective relationships with all parties
·         Must be extremely detail oriented, very organized, flexible, capable of working independently and multitasking, computer proficient, and willing to work with people from a variety of cultures
