    HOURS OF OPERATION:
    - Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, 8am to 6pm
    - Thursday, 8am to 8pm
    - Friday, 8am to 5pm
    - Saturday, 8am to 1pm
    - Sunday, closed


    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
    - $190,000 to $300,000 Annually, dependent upon experience and performance

    Having opened its first office more than 20 years ago, this organization is now the largest physician-led outpatient medical practice in the greater NYC metro area.  They have nearly 40 offices in Brooklyn, Long Island, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island, and are the preferred healthcare destination in every community.  In addition to robust primary care offerings, they also operate specialty service lines in cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, allergy and immunology, dermatology, and more.  Their large staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are supported by dedicated team members, utilizing resources such as on-site laboratory services.  The practice’s mission and vision are realized through a focus on partnering with patients in the pursuit of better health.  They are currently hiring due to growth.


    POSITION DESCRIPTION:
    Serve as a primary care provider to an adult patient base.

    Typical duties include:

    - review patient histories and perform physical examinations
    - evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care
    - refer patients to specialists as needed
    - provide quality clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care
    - review test results and recommend suitable management for the patient
    - counsel patients in preventive health recommendations and habits
    - prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
    - provide relationship-centered care, taking into account the patient’s psychosocial needs
    - collect and record patient information, such as histories, reports, and examination results
    - maintain complete and accurate medical records
    - communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care
    - participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings

    A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference for patient volume and types of appointments scheduled.

    All visits are prepped and supported by a clinical assistant.

    The practice utilizes the Epic EHR.



    REQUIREMENTS:
    - New York medical license
    - DEA
    - Board Certification or Eligibility, internal medicine or family practice
