*Please note that because this is a start-up, the CEO will be selecting the office location in conjunction with the new provider, to ensure a comfortable commute.*
This practice is owned and operated by a talented physician, who is building onto a successful, multi-site men’s health organization that has been in operation for more than 20 years. He is excited to expand his offerings to patients by opening several new centers dedicated to men’s hair restoration and transplant surgery.
This position is with a newly-opening clinic and the practice is seeking a motivated provider who is interested in joining a start-up environment during an exciting growth phase.
The position will begin with the provider working minimal hours in set-up activities. They will work alongside the CEO to select a location, hire staff, ensure proper equipment orders, etc. The new provider will be fully involved in the decision-making and start-up process and, once the necessary machines arrive, will complete 1-2 weeks of training on the equipment.
Because of the start-up nature, the new provider’s full-time start date will be approximately 4 to 6 months after accepting the position, with the intervening time involving part-time work (scheduled according to the provider’s preference) for start-up and training activities.
Once the office is operational, the new provider will see 2 to 4 patients per day.
The work includes, but is not limited to:
- robotic hair transplant surgery
- manual hair transplant surgery
- routine follow-up visits
- research / continual training
The work will be approximately 60% surgery, 30% consults, and 10% administrative work.
If the provider desires to be trained in and perform additional procedures, the practice will accommodate a service line that includes laser and chemical peels.
All work will be performed with dedicated clinical assistants. The practice will ensure the provider has all necessary support and resources.
On-call requirements are minimal. There is little on-call activity and the provider will have a short on-call schedule approximately once every 3 months.
- New York PA or NP license
- at least 1 year of advanced practice required
- experience in manual hair transplant required
- familiarity with ARTAS-assisted transplants preferred
