Objective
Warehouse Specialist to assist with a variety of warehousing duties that are required to ship and receive instructional material, equipment and supplies.

Essential Functions
- Open and inspect warehouse spaces. Any security violation must be immediately report it to the Security Manager and the TPOC for investigation.
- Maintain a signed log for all personnel accessing warehouse spaces.
- Maintain a signed log for all MHE (truck, forklift) check out by customers.
- Accepting shipments, verifying materials received against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages to TPOC.
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations: storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with the prescribed storage methods given by TPOC.
- Preparing equipment for shipment by boxing (if necessary), palletizing, shrink-wrapping and forwarding to shipping dock by hand/power truck/pallet jack.
- Rearranging inventory to TPOC’s requests and taking inventory of stored materials on paper format to ensure accurate inventory data owned by TPOC.
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage when found to TPOC immediately.
- Update an excel file with all receiving and shipping material on a daily basic and be able to provide a weekly or monthly report via e-mail to TPOC within 24hr notice.
- Keep storage area clean of trash and excess shipping materials and will keep storage area neat and organized.
- Operate forklift, hand/power trucks/pallet jacks while performing warehousing duties
- Daily inspect MHE for cleanliness and good working condition and report any problems to TPOC.
Requirements
High School Diploma; minimum of 3 yrs warehouse/forklift experience is preferred
The selected candidate shall possess:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills working with teams.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Thorough knowledge of personal computer systems (PC and/or Macintosh).
- Professional work environment related to various phases of planning.
- Knowledge not required, but desired:
- Experience in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and ArcGIS.
- Working knowledge of planning products and planning principles, concepts, methodologies, rules, and regulations
- Proficiency in Google G Suite – Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar.
- Proficiency in MS Project
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
Works on hard surface and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries weights up to 40 pounds. May handle heavier items with weight lifting equipment or with assistance for other workers.
Work Environment
Work is done inside and outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty or poorly lighted. Employee is regularly exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes and bruises, falls from ladders, falling material, or injury from equipment. May be exposed to dust, dirt, grease, solvents and high noise areas while working in mechanized work area.
Expected Duty Schedule
On working days the Contractor will work the same
shifts as the local government personnel, normally Monday through Friday between 0730 to 1600 local time (excluding Federal holidays). Daily schedule may be shifted at government’s discretion to coordinate with shipping/receiving schedules with 24-hour notice given to the Contractor by the TPOC.

Work under this task order is UNCLASSIFIED. The contractor shall comply with all applicable DOD and installation security regulations and procedures during the performance of this task order. Contractor shall not disclose and must safeguard business sensitive and procurement sensitive information, computer systems and data, Privacy Act Data, and government personnel work products that are obtained or generated in the performance of this task order.
