Essential Functions
Analyzes and summarizes detailed technical reports, and performs data entry database input and analysis of environmental assessments as directed to support OASD(S). Validates accuracy of data, periodic quality control review of data, provides documentation support for the database, performs annual reviews of data, and develops and performs data audit procedures. Prepares and provides quarterly reports, including background information and summaries of DoD field level projects undertaken with NALEMP funding. Approves, assigns, and maintains database user accounts. Drafts and updates database user manual and makes recommendations on database improvements. Makes NALEMP project recommendations to OASD(S) by prioritizing impacts for funding using the results of the site screen process. Provides database trainings and demonstrations, as requested.
Requirements
Baccalaureate degree in business or computer related field; minimum of 5 years systems analysis experience.
Special Qualifications: All candidates shall reflect a high level of knowledge and experience in working with American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiians, training, policy, research, American Indian/Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian affairs, cultural resources, contracting, and environmental sciences.
The selected candidate shall possess:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration skills working with teams.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office software suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Thorough knowledge of personal computer systems (PC and/or Macintosh).
- Professional work environment related to various phases of planning.
- Knowledge not required, but desired:
- Experience in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and ArcGIS.
- Working knowledge of planning products and planning principles, concepts, methodologies, rules, and regulations
- Proficiency in Google G Suite – Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar.
- Proficiency in MS Project
