    Summary/Objective
    This position is under the direct supervision of the Security Manager and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.

    Essential Functions

    1. complete daily log of activities, including any vehicles turned away and significant public interactions
    2. if suspicious behavior occurs, or a breach, ASO will notify incident Security Manager immediately via radio or other means
    3. provide roaming and static presence at assigned post

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This job operates both indoors and outdoors and as such may be exposed to extreme heat, cold, precipitation, dust or other similar environmental factors.

    Limited/occasional overnight travel may be required.

     Required Education and Experience
    1. High school diploma or equivalent.
    2. At least eighteen (18) years of age.
    3. Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in an emergency incident environment and enforcement procedures.
    4. CLEET licensed Armed Security Guard OR current (reserve or full-time) Law Enforcement Officer (Peace Officer) 

    Preferred Education and Experience
    1. Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
    2. Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
    3. Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
    4. A minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch
    5. Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
    6. A high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of security related experience.

    Position Type

    This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
