Incident Management Team (IMT) Reservist
As an IMT Reservist at Chloeta you can expect to respond to emergency response deployments as a member of an IMT or in support of an Emergency Operations Center (EOC), on a nationwide basis with short notice.
The ideal candidate for these positions is an individual with lengthy employment experience in a public safety field such as firefighting, law enforcement or emergency medicine with an expert level understanding of the Incident Command System (ICS).
Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Homeland Security, Public Administration or related field preferred. Candidates without a Bachelor’s Degree may substitute four (4) years of relevant work experience. Relevant work experience includes increasingly responsible positions in the firefighting, law enforcement, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), emergency management, public health and/or public works.
Applicants are required to demonstrate prior completion of Incident Command System (ICS) training, including the following FEMA courses:

Prior verifiable IMT deployment experience, or experience working in a related leadership position for government agencies in a responder capacity (Fire-Rescue, EMS, Law Enforcement, Public Health, Emergency Management or equivalent) during incident responses is required. Must have strong incident management skills, including practical application of appropriate ICS protocols to ensure effective utilization of personnel and equipment resources. Experience using WebEOC incident information management software is preferred.
RequirementsMust maintain readiness to deploy within 12 hours of being activated.Must maintain physical and mental health characteristics that allow for efficient performance in emergency settings under tight deadlines.Must be able to work in high-pressure/high-stress settings in varied remote or austere environments for a minimum of 14 - 21 straight days.Must be capable of working extended 12-hour shifts, including after-hours.Must have a memory for detail, leadership qualities and sound judgment.Must be able to work in a team environment, or as a single resource with limited supervision.Must possess excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate in a variety of formats.Must be able to maintain professional interpersonal skills, including effective listening, and non-verbal communication skills.Must adhere to acceptable standards of business ethics and integrity, and comply with all federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations in all duties.Must be able to pass all appropriate criminal background checks.Other duties, as assignedDuty LocationVirtual (CONUS-wide Travel to Incidents)
