Content Marketing Specialist

Chexology, creator of ABC’s Shark Tank featured product, CoatChex is seeking a creative expert who can develop and execute a multitude of marketing campaigns, within a budget, in order to achieve company goals. In this role, you will take on the voice of Chexology and collaborate on strategic ways to win prospective clients over through lead generation and PR strategies. It is essential this individual enjoys working with all different stakeholders and can communicate clearly, effectively, and persuasively. We are looking for someone ready and excited to step up to establish, own, and drive Chexology’s broader marketing strategy—the position will have ultimate responsibility for all of our current and future marketing initiatives as well as their continued success.  Strong experience in copywriting, campaign management, and goal setting are required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Understand buyer personas and develop an impactful B2B marketing strategy to identify, qualify and deliver sales leads
  • Build and manage performance marketing: develop performance strategy across multiple channels – SEO, email, social, search, referral, affiliates, TV, radio, conferences, etc.
  • Conversion optimization: Optimize cross-channel acquisition efforts and maximize ROI
  • Build and maintain relations with journalists and press; manage our social network activities; monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Oversee case studies, product announcements, conferences, industry guides, and more
  • Proactively measure KPIs and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Easily shift between “big picture” content strategy to the “nuts & bolts” of copywriting
  • Apply and maintain consistency with the Chexology voice and our content standards
  • Translate complex tech and business concepts into clear and engaging writing

Required skills:

  • A good understanding of how to develop a strategic plan for any given marketing campaign
  • A consistent record of building brand value through storytelling; You helped build out a brand that customers and the general public have been excited by
  • Comfortable developing and streamlining a brand voice across multiple products as we enter our next phase of accelerated growth in the SAAS industry
  • An analytical and metrics-driven work style that leverages data to make informed decisions
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills that shine when you're talking with a client or engaging a digital audience
  • 3+ years of brand copywriting with UX writing a plus
  • SEO and B2B experience a plus
